    Logan is another favorite illustrative tattoo artist of ours whose work we can never stop looking at. He is a legendary graffiti artist from Madrid Spain who brought the graphic design stylings of the graf scene into tattooing, combining playful, color-rich character designs with often darker themes.   • Steve Moore Tattoo Artist

    Yet another hugely inspirational illustrative tattoo artist based out of Vancouver Island in Canada. Steve is deeply respected around the globe for his visionary large-scale work that is imbued with multiple layers of nature, mysticism, and spirituality in vivid color and dynamic figure anatomy.   • Chet Zar

    Chet Zar is a fine art painter and Hollywood creature desingner who is world-renowned for his playfully horrific monster creations, as seen everywhere from Hollywood blockbuster films like “Men In Black” and “Hellboy”, to music videos by the psychedelic prog metal band TOOL. Known widely as the “Painter Of Dark”, Chet's work can be seen here.

    Speaking of TOOL, do you have a moment to discus the greatest band to ever exist? TOOL provide much of the daily soundtrack in our studio, with their cerebral, esoteric, and often darkly hilarious brand of progressive heavy metal. Falling somewhere between the heady experimental soundscapes of Pink Floyd and King Crimson, and the pounding heavy riffage of Black Sabbath and early Metallica, combined with mindblowing visual art, you will find Tool, crafting an audio-visual experience that defies all expectations and easy categorization.   • Reel Splatter Productions

    Home of indie filmmaker and friend of the studio Mike Lombardo, who specializes in original indie horror filmmaking and special effect designs for feature films. Not for the faint of heart, but nonetheless a creative writer, director, and FX artist, you can check out his work here.

  • Unkindness Art

    Borrowing its name from the scientific term for a group of ravens, Unkindness Art is the Richmond Virginia home of super-talented illustrative tattoo artist Teresa Sharpe, whose work is a constant source of inspiration and motivation. You can see her work here.

  • Lancaster Conservancy

    The Lancaster Conservancy is an organization dedicated to preserving, restoring, and maintaining local natural areas and hiking trails, with an emphasis on historic preservation and rewilding reclaimed areas with native species. The Susquahanna Valley region is among one of the most ancient ecosystems on the planet, and history runs deep here, both in terms of the natural landscape, and human activity, from Clovis-era settlement dating back tens of thousands of years, to the Revolutionary and Civil War battles that were waged here.   • Throw Up Magazine

    A fantastic journal for all things graffiti and hip-hop, featuring writers and musicians from around the world. Much like tattooing, graffiti culture has been elevated to incredible new heights over the last two or three decades into an impressive form of artistic expression with enormous crossover influence on tattooing, fine art, graphic design, and marketing.   • ART Research Sculpting Studio

    ART Research Enterprises is a premier bronze sculpture studio and foundry located right here in Lancaster Pennsylvania that boasts clients from across the country and around the world. Colin once worked there before his tattoo career took off, helping to craft several large installation pieces that can be found all across the United States and Europe, including the Dr. Suess memorial located in Springfield Massachusetts.   • Mütter Museum Of Medical Oddities

    Located in the heart of Philadelphia, the Mütter is a museum and historical medical library that showcases a vast selection of fascinating medical conditions that tastefully display real specimens within its many exhibits. While not for the squeamish or faint of heart, it offers an incredibly interesting insight into conditions and complications that have bedeviled people for millennia, and the crude and pioneering treatments used to help those afflicted, with an emphasis on the humanity behind the patients and doctors involved.     Deftones are another one of our favorite bands here at the studio. With their signature mix of crushing alt-metal, trip-hop atmospheric soundscapes, and ethereal shoegaze singing, they provide much of the daily soundtrack to our creative process. Check them out here.

  • SETI

    SETI is an acronym for the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, and the SETI organization is dedicated to doing just that, scanning the cosmos for signatures of alien intelligences, using a vast array of radio telescopes scattered across the globe, with the help of the public.     Aaron Blaise is a phenomenally talented artist in both the world of fine art and animation. He is a former Disney animator who worked on such classics as “The Lion King” and “Beauty And The Beast”, and now does independent animated films as well as wildlife realism art, and art instruction in a wide variety of disciplines and mediums.   • Fallingwater

    Fallingwater is an architectural masterpiece by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright, nestled in the forest just outside of Pittsburgh in western Pennsylvania. True to its name, it was built atop a waterfall, with the stream running beneath the livingroom area of the house. Construction of the house was completed in 1939, and it is now preserved by a trust as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.   • Longwood Gardens

    Longwood Gardens is one of the largest and most well-curated botanical gardens in the U.S., and is located about an hours drive from our studio, in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. It boasts a huge variety of rare and exotic plants, from tropical orchids to centuries-old bonsai trees, as well as a spawling tree preserve of endangered native species.   • Rick Griffin Poster Artist

    Rick Griffin is an absolute icon of the rock poster scene, one of the trailblazing pioneers of the psychedelic design movement of the 1960s and 70s, whose visionary artwork for bands like The Grateful Dead and The Who became synonymous with the counterculture zeitgeist. His intricate and highly stylized lettering was a huge influence on the graffiti and street art scenes that sprang up decades later, and his work still continues to inspire new generations of artists.   • Roger Dean

    Roger Dean is a phenomenal visionary artist most widely known for his decades-long collaboration with the progressive rock band YES, and the various offshoots thereof. Aside from the vivid fantasy landscapes he paints for album covers, his graphic design and lettering for logos is also hugely inspirational for us at the studio. Check his work out here

  • Alex and Alison Grey at COSM

    Alex, along with his wife and soulmate Alison, are the visionary artist behind the legenday Chapel Of Sacred Mirrors, a sanctuary for visionary artists and psychonaut explorers of human consciousness and spirituality. Their vividly colorful and energetic paintings have awed and inspired countless artists, creatives, and people looking to expand their minds and evolve their spirits. Alex is also well-known for his longstanding collaboration with the psychedelic progressive metal band Tool, creating some of their most mind-exploding visuals and album art. Check it all out here

  • Alphonse Mucha

    Alphonse Mucha is a legendary fine art painter, illustrator, and graphic designer who helped to revolutionize poster design and develope the art nouveau style at the turn of the 20th century. With his emphasis on graceful flowing lines and feminine beauty accentuated by elements of nature, his art became a phenomenon that still continues to inspire artists and dreamers alike more than a century later.   • Black Symmetry Tattoo

    Black Symmetry is a Lisbon, Portugal-based studio that specializes in symmetrical geometric blackwork tattooing, often referred to as “tribal” tattooing. Lewis, the artist behind Black Symmetry takes the style to a whole new higher level with his incredibly intricate designs that marry rigid straight lines and complex geometric patterns to the imperfect and softly rounded shapes of the human form. Perhaps because this style is so much different than what we do here, it has taken on something of an alien mystique to it that we can not help but admire.
